Join our staff for an enriching Dapur Tara cooking class, where you’ll engage in preparing an authentic Dapur Tara Tribal menu. If weather permits, the Dapur Tara Outdoor cooking class with Lunch or Dinner will take place in the Dapur Tara outdoor kitchen

Using organic, seasonal produce sourced directly from our gardens, this immersive experience also includes a tour of our garden and medicinal herbs.

Cooking Class Menu

· Chicken
· Tofu or Tempe (vegan/vegetarian alternative)
· Bamboo rice
· Crispy papaya (fried young papaya)
· Vegetables with coconut
· Pineapple Sambal
· Fruits (seasonal)
· Drinking water
· Free flow Coffee or Herbal Tea

Schedule

Outdoor Cooking class with Lunch

  • 9am – 1pm: Participate in preparing the Lunch with our staff
  • 1pm: Savor the amazing Lunch you have prepared

Outdoor Cooking class with Dinner

  • 2pm – 6pm: Participate in preparing the Dinner with our staff
  • 6pm: Savor the amazing Dinner you have prepared

Steps

  • Step 1: Picking fresh ingredients from our garden.
  • Step 2: Learning cooking techniques and preparing the tribal menu items together with our team. All cooking is done outdoors over an open fire.
  • Step 3: Enjoying and celebrating the meal we’ve prepared together.

Price

The price for this amazing experience is Rp 600.000 per person + 10% tax

Reservation details

A minimum of 8 persons is required to set up the cooking class.

Reservations must be made at least three days prior to the class, closing at 3 pm three days before arrival.

Payment options

Deposit minimum 50% by transfer via Indonesian bank account, Wise, Revolut, or debit/credit card latest 3 PM, three days before arrival

(Reservations for larger groups 20 pax or more we need your deposit latest 7 days before arrival)

The outstanding balance is payable upon arrival, either by cash or by transfer
