Shared Tribal
Dinner

An evening around the fire, shared at one table

This is not just dinner.
It is a shared evening shaped by fire, food, and the quiet rhythm of Flores.

Shared Tribal Dinner at Dapur Tara

More than a meal

Shared Tribal Dinner is an evening experience built around open-fire cooking and communal dining. Guests gather in our bamboo restaurant in the hills above Labuan Bajo, where dishes arrive fresh from the fire and the night unfolds slowly, without rush.

It carries the essential feeling of Flores tradition: warmth, hospitality, simple ingredients, and food prepared with time and care.

Your evening here

Guests arrive before dinner and are welcomed into the bamboo dining space. Before the meal begins, we introduce the menu, the ingredients, and the cooking traditions behind the dishes.

Dinner is then served as a shared table experience. Rice, fire-cooked proteins, vegetables, sambals, and seasonal elements come out in a natural rhythm, inviting conversation and connection rather than rushed service.

This is the kind of evening people remember not because it is formal or polished, but because it feels real.
